We are really excited about taking part in the Worcester Carnival this weekend, Saturday 1st July. Everyone is welcome to join us, and all the details are below:
Our theme is “Bright for Sight – Beach Party” which fits in with the Carnival theme of “Our Colourful World” so we will be wearing bright beach wear! We are also running a stall in the Carnival Village on Pitchcroft racecourse.
Timings:
10am Stall open – we need volunteers to join us on the staill
12.30pm Meet outside the Swan Theatre (for those that want to be there for judging)
1.00pm Assemble on Pitch Croft for judging of walking groups.
2.30pm Meet outside the Swan Theatre to walk to Pitchcroft for Parade
3.00pm Carnival Parade starts at Pitchcroft
4.30 pm Carnival Parade returns to Pitchcroft
5.00 pm Awards presented
There will then be a warm-up band followed by Blobbie Williams (Robbie Williams tribute) for those that want to stay.
