Sight Concern Worcestershire, Sight Advice South Lakes and 4Sight Essex present The Blind Poet – Dave Steele. This recording is taken from the Zoom session we had on 11-02-2021 where Dave told us of his experiences with Retinitis Pigmentosa, how it has affected him and his family, how he has learned to overcome its challenges and how he has used poetry and verse to reach out and connect with others who live with a visual impairment. His stories are inspiring and charming in equal measure, often funny and his emotive poems cut to the heart of the matter. The session is to hear in full with a Q&A in the last half hour with attendees.
