Sight Concern Worcestershire is delighted to announce the launch of their 5K Jingle Run, an exciting new sponsored Christmas themed event to be held at the Lido Park, Droitwich on Sunday 24th November, 11am. All participants will wear a bell attached to their running shoes and a pair of antlers and have a red nose painted on to complete the reindeer look!
Participants can walk, prance, jog or run their way around the course passing Christmas themed stations along the way. There will also be a 1 Mile Little Reindeer Dash for children between 4 and 12 and a Reindeer Toddle for under 4s around the bandstand. By the time everyone reaches the finish they’ll be full of Christmas spirit and festive jollity!
The idea of using a Rudolf theme and having a bell attached to running shoes was inspired by one of our clients who was blind and brought up two small children on her own. In order to be able to hear them she attached little bells to their shoes.

Entry Fees are £15 per adult, £7.50 for a child (4-18), £35 for a family of four, £5 for the I Mile Little Reindeer Dash (4-12) and free for the Reindeer Toddle but please note you need to book.
Entry fees include bells, antlers, entertainment, snow machine and Christmas themed stations along the way. We are asking all participants to raise as much money in sponsorship as they can to help local blind and partially sighted people to lead independent and fulfilling lives.
