Sensory Matters
We want people to have the skills, equipment, and confidence to lead independent lives, and we provide specially-tailored services to meet individual needs.
Our Sensory Matters service launched in October 2003 providing information, advice and guidance to anyone in Worcestershire who is blind, vision impaired, Deaf, hard of hearing, have dual sensory loss or is deafblind.
We have a team of Sensory Impairment Advisors who can offer information and advice, signpost or make referrals to specialists and other services that can offer additional support.
Our Sensory Impairment Advisors understand the challenges that people with sight and hearing loss face and will provide you with the information you need to maintain independent and fulfilling lives.

Our services include:
- Information and guidance on living with
sensory loss. - Signposting and referral to other services,
organisations and groups for longer-term
support. - Advice on equipment to help maintain safety
and independence.
