SUMMARY:Creative Change - drumming project!
DESCRIPTION:The sessions will be uplifting\, therapeutic and fun\, drumming workshops for complete beginners\,  no experience required. \nRegular sessions led by a professional experienced drumming expert Mendi Singh. \nStep 1\nParticipants involved will learn to create music played on everyday objects including tins. bowls\, pots\, mugs\, cans. \nBring some little items from your home to the sessions to create music on with a pair of chopsticks that will be provided. \nStep 2\nParticipants will learn how to play rhythms and record the sounds and create their own digital music track and will receive a copy of the music that you will create at the end of the project. \nStep 3\nAll participants will perform in a showcase at the end of the project in March. \nDates of workshops\n\n9th November\n23rd November\nDecember 14th and 21st\nJanuary 11th and 25th\nFebruary 8th and 22nd\nMarch 14th\n\nAll workshops start at 11am till 12.30pm \nShowcase will take place on March 28th\, 11am till 12.30pm. \nWorkshops will take place at: The Bradbury Centre\, 2 Sansome Walk\, Worcester.  WR1 1 L H \nPlease contact a member of staff to book your place. \n\nemail: info@sightconcern.co.uk\nphone: 01905 723245\n\nHere is a sample of the music created by participants from the last Creative Change project: \n\nhttps://www.sightconcern.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/FINAL-W-CREATIVE-CHANGE-PROJECT-AUDIO.mp3\n
