DESCRIPTION:Worcestershire Goes Bright for Sight on National Sunglasses Day\nSight Concern Worcestershire and our supporters are getting excited abou t delving into the dressing up box to wear our brightest\, funkiest outfits and sunglasses on Thursday\, 27th June 2019\, National Sunglasses Day. \nSight Concern Worcestershire are your county charity helping support blind and partially sighted people to lead independent and fulfilling lives.  Jenny Gage\, Chief Officer says “National Sunglasses Day is the ideal opportunity to remind people about the importance of protecting their eyes\, particularly children. Children spend three times more time outside and\, unlike adults\, children’s eyes are less able to filter out the UV rays\, making them more susceptible to eye damage from UV rays. Parents should always make sure that children’s sunglasses include a UV protection label.” \nSight Concern are thrilled that Thursfields are proudly sponsoring Going Bright for Sight on Sunglasses Day. Nick O’Hara\, Managing Director said “. All too often we take our eyesight for granted. There are steps we can all take to alleviate the risks of forming eye conditions such as cataracts.
