LET US TEACH YOU THE WONDERS OF BRAILLE.

Our Braille Course

Have you thought about learning Braille in the past, but thought it might be too difficult? Are you worried you might not be able to identify the dots using touch alone?

Well it’s time to think again!

We have already taught many people how to read Braille, and we always look forward to welcoming new students. The course takes place at our Bradbury Centre HQ in Worcester, usually in small groups of two or three students, although we may be able to offer one-ton-one tuition if requested.

Course highlights:

Braille technology

Our Braille course is focused on learning to read paper based Braille, and to produce hard copy Braille documents using a traditional style Brailler.

There is a whole world of Braille related technology in use nowadays – from Braille input and output on computers, phones and tablets, to standalone devices for reading books or navigating the web.

If you would like to learn more about Braille technology, get in touch and ask to speak with our Technology Coordinator, who will be able to tell you about what is available and what solutions might best suit your needs.
