EMPLOYMENT AGENCY IS A "BRIGHT" LIGHT FOR CHARITY

Staff at Premiere People recruitment agency are throwing off their dull and dreary garments in exchange for a flash of colour in order to help out a local charity.

The company, based on Foregate Street in Worcester, are one of many companies, schools and organisations who have signed up to "Wear Bright for Sight" on 8th October to support World Sight Day and raise money for the independent local sight loss charity, Worcestershire Association for the Blind.

In addition to donating money to wear bright clothes, staff and visitors to the branch will be involved with a host of other fundraising activities throughout the day.

Jason Roberts, branch manager of Premiere People, said: "We have adopted Worcestershire Association for the Blind as our charity for the coming year and World Sight Day is the first event we will be doing for them. We are delighted to support such an important local organisation as sight loss can affect anyone at any age with some truly devastating effects".

Worcestershire Association for the Blind hope to raise £5000 on World Sight Day with the help of local businesses and organisations. Anyone interested in taking part, receiving a fundraising pack or making a donation should contact Alice Watts on 01905 723245 or alice@wabsight.org.uk
