EXHIBITION OFFERS SOLUTIONS TO THOSE WITH SIGHT LOSS

People in Worcestershire experiencing problems with their sight have the opportunity to come to an exhibition to find out more about technology that may be able to help them.

Worcestershire Association for the Blind, soon to become Sight Concern Worcestershire, is hosting a ’Sight Solutions’ exhibition on Friday 16th October from 10am to 3pm at the charity’s Bradbury Centre, 2 Sansome Walk, Worcester. The exhibition will feature useful gadgets and state of the art technology that can help people with all levels of sight loss live full and independent lives.

’We wanted the opportunity to show people what is available’ says Rhian Thompson, Rehab and Training Manager for Worcestershire Association for the Blind. She added "there is so much out there to help people. There really is a solution to almost any challenge caused by sight loss"

The exhibition is free to attend with light refreshments available and goodie bag for all visitors. Unfortunately parking is limited but the Bradbury Centre is only a short walk from the Corn market Pay and Display car park on City Walls Road.

Anyone who wants more information on the event should contact Rhian Thompson on 01905 723245 or rhian@wabsight.org.uk
