This event is a briefing for anyone affected by ’Choice and Control’ agenda which is coming into force in Worcestershire over the coming months.

Choice and Control is Worcestershire’s response to the Government’s Personalisation agenda and went ‘live’ on April 6th 2009 for new users of services.  The programme is being implemented gradually and is currently in a learning phase as it begins to support people through the new approach.

The briefing will consist of a presentation and information on what has been learnt during the first part of the programme and expectations for the future.

Anyone who does or will need to access these services will be classed as a stake holder and anyone can attend these meetings to find out what is going to happen.  We do hope to have some staff in attendance so if you cannot attend yourself, we should be able to bring information back to Sight Concern.
