Trips and Holidays
Sight Concern organises regular trips to places of interst. Past trips have included an audio described tour of SS Great Britain, a touch tour of the Roman Baths and audio described performances of plays and musicals. We also organise an annual holiday which this year went to Teignmouth in Devon.

Audio and Large Print Books
We have a large stock of talking and large print books available to loan from our Bradbury Centre. We are agents for British Wireless for the Blind Fund which means we can loan a free radio/cassette/cd players for those registered as visually impaired who may need it.
Golf
In association with Gaudet Luce golf club in Droitwich and the Russell Adams Golf Academy, we run the Worcestershire Blind Golf Association. This is open to anyone with sight problems who fancies a go at golf. It is open to people who may have played golf before they developed sight problems as well as people who have never picked up a club before. We can provide transport to sessions and a sighted guide if necessary.
Bowling Club
During the summer season we hold regular sessions of flat green bowling at Worcester Bowls Club in Wood Terrace, Worcester. The sessions are held every Wednesday between 1.15 and 3.45 (weather permitting) and all are welcome to join in, you don’t need to have your own equipment but you must have totally flat shoes.
Film Club
We regularly put on audio-described showings of popular films at the Bradbury Centre. For information on the next screening, please see the Forthcoming Events section of the website or get in touch for more details. In some instances, we may be able to provide transport to screenings.
