Aids and Equipment
Within the Bradbury Centre, Sight Concern has a large display of aids and equipment which can greatly improve the quality of life of someone who has sight problems. Whether it is to help them gain more independence or allow them to continue with much enjoyed leisure activities.
Equipment ranges from talking clocks. kitchen aids and large button telephones to large print or Braille games and puzzles.
We do not operate as a normal shop because the range and amount of equipment can be overwhelming. We prefer to discuss any challenges that each individual may be facing. Our trained staff can then help make suggestions on what is best for each particular eye condition or person.
It is important to make an appointment to visit our resource room so that we can ensure that a member of staff is available to assist you.
